Newborn Girl Photography Pose Ideas

Welcome back to the my blog you guys! Remember this stunning maternity session a while back? when we were almost eaten alive by monstrous mosquitoes! well this cute couple welcomed to the world their sweet baby girl and she is precious!

For newborn girls, and all babies in general, i try to have pose ideas in mind. I  don’t like feeling like i am all over the place once i arrive to my clients home. For those of you that do not know, i am a Houston newborn photographer and i do my sessions in the comfort of your home. I am basically a traveling studio, i bring everything to you just to help relieve the stress of preparing to go out the door with a newborn baby. In a real world scenario, all my sessions are baby lead. Some babies naturally sleep better than others, some just love to be wrapped, while others will not let you even touch their hands and this is what makes every session so unique, you will cherish forever who your fresh baby is!

I usually start with the wrap poses and props first and for the second half of the session i do all the naked set ups. There is feedings and awake periods in between and that is why i prepare parents for a 4 hour session. Trust me, it sounds like a lot of time but you will be surprised how fast it goes and how much you will not want it to end.

For this session, mommy wanted to incorporate some soft pink and cream with a hint of cranberry. I was so excited to do some darker gem tones since that is my favorite trend right now. Pastels don’t get old trust me, but i will go out of my way for some pretty earthy and gem tones!
