Houston Heights Lifestyle Newborn Photography

Lifestyle in home sessions are becoming my favorite thing to photograph lately. Don’t get to scared if you think this might not be session for you. All my “lifestyle sessions” are guided by me, don’t think i just walk into all these homes and just walk behind people or hide in a corner waiting for magic to happen. There are a lot of misconceptions about these type of sessions and i will help clear up the two most FAQ below:

A lot of people think, “Oh, that is not for me, we are not naturals in front of the camera”. The good thing about lifestyle photography is that you don’t even have to look at me! All my sessions are guided and posed, i will always be there to tell you were to stand. The magic happens when i tell you to hug, kiss, tickle and laugh, YOU then become the natural in front of my camera. Why? because only you kiss your children the way you do, only your husband kisses your cheek the way he does, only you guys make your house your home.

The second most common misconception is, “Well, we don’t have a fancy house, so that is not for us right?. Let me tell you, you are wrong! You and your family make your house home. Sometimes homes are on the darker side of natural light, so sometimes these sessions are done next to windows, or little pockets of light that do not show case your ENTIRE home. Most of the time i only use your master bedroom, nursery and living room.

Overall, don’t be afraid to capture the moments with your little ones and also your children in the middle ages. Please capture as much as you can because at the end of the day, they are only this little once.

P.S. I love pets, don’t think they cant be part of he family because they are. Photographing families with pets is my jam.
